An Empirical Study on Work Life Balance among Women Teaching Staff in Private Colleges,Bengaluru

The purpose of this study is to assess the work-life balance of female teaching staff in private
degree colleges in north Bangalore, Karnataka. Furthermore, this study assesses the level of
work-life balance among female teaching staff members and examines the impact of various
socio-demographic characteristics on their work-life balance. A total of 112 samples were
chosen, and data was collected using the questionnaire method, with the data analysed using a
social science statistical software (SPSS). According to the study's findings, more than half of
women teaching staff members have a good degree of work-life balance, while more than a
quarter of women teaching staff members have a low level of work-life balance. According to
the findings, there is a statistically significant link between women teaching staff members'
monthly pay and work-life balance.

Work life and personal life are two sides of same coin. The entry or foreign and private banks
havebrought radical changes in Banking Industry. Increasing work pressure, globalization, technological
change etc.have created issues with both professional and personal life. Work deadlines are getting tighter
andindividuals fail to cope up with expected quality output. Work life balancehas become threat for
employersand employees, both. The banking sector is one which is facing the problem of work life
imbalance.Many atime people involve in reaching to the top work so hard that they miss out the on real
pleasure of life. Theoutput of banking sector totally depends on human resources. Bank employees take pain
full effort to caterto customer needs. This study aims at exploring the concept of work life balance and
identifies the jobrelatedfactors thataffect theemployees’personal life.

Flexible Working Time and Work Life Balance of Nursing Officers in Ampara District, Sri Lanka

The concept of work life balance (WLB) has considered as a very important phenomena in recent years. Health organizations provide flexible working time (FWT) for nursing officers to enhance their work and family life balance. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of flexible working time on work life balance. The populationconsists the type “A” base hospitals’ nursing officers in Ampara district, Sri Lanka. Self-rating questionnaire was distributed to 142 nursing offices to gathered data. Among these 128 respondents were returned with duly completed manner.
The questionnaire has satisfactory level of validity and reliability. The results showed that strong positive correlation (r = 0.713) exist between the flexible working time and work life balance. Results of simple regression analysis indicated that R square value was 0.508 and adjusted R value was 0.501, these values revealed that around 50% of total variations on work life balance of nursing officers explain by flexible working time. In addition, unstandardized beta value of FWT (b = 0.677) described that, single unit change in FWT leads to 0.677 units change in WLB.
The future researcher scan be reproducing this study with large sample size including the related staff in health sector from both public and private hospitals and other effective data gathering techniques like direct interviews and 360 degrees rater measurement scale. According to the importance of FWT on WLB of nursing officers, administrations can consider the recommendations and suggestions given by researcher to enhance the affectivity of existing FWT.

Work-life balance is a significant constituent of a healthy workplace. Keeping up work-life balance lessens the pressure and forestalls burnout in the working environment. The objective of the study is to know the impact of work-life balance on success criteria and family issues. In spite of the fact that finding a work-life balance as a dental specialist is troublesome, it altogether impacts general satisfaction, so the significance of discovering this parity couldn't be more important. The personal family issues and the thrive to go forward in their career is highly influenced by the kind of balance they have between job and personal life. Descriptive research is used in the study and the study is focused on 67 female dentists. Work life balance affects the personal issues faced rather than the success criteria of female dentists. Based on the results, implementations are suggested for the female dentists to overcome the challenges and acquire balanced work life.

Impact of remote working on employees in IT industry

remote working and employee’s satisfaction, performance is  recently being discussed often as the world is in a pandemic situation, Need for doing research has become inevitable in this field as many employees are working from home with limited resources. many significant factors are chosen for this study. The objective of this study is to know the impact of remote working in the IT industry, to find out the positive and negative consequences faced by employees while remote working, to study the influence of demographic variables on the perception of employees regarding remote working, and to give suggestions to overcome negative consequences. The questionnaire was circulated to remote workers in the IT industry. A total number of 61 respondents were contacted and were given the opportunity to participate in the survey through a convenience sampling method. The results of this research were found to be that communication is the most influencing factor of creating job satisfaction among remote employees in the IT industry and remote working is becoming the upcoming trend.

A study on factors causing stress among doctors

Work stress can affect  doctors physical and mental health by reducing their efficiency and having a pessimistic effect on their  quality of life. Stress among doctors is a synergy between the challenging nature of their work and committed personality .Doctors are having a highly demanding nature of work ,both the lack of control and inadequate rewarding systems in the workplace making doctors stressful.  Handling unexpected responsibilities may increase the  Stress .Work stress  can be induced by various factors such as excessive workload and extended work hours to handle critical cases and serious working environments..work stress will  also cause a negative impact on their family life . Many factors can enhance stress , including  low career growth, lack of managerial relationship with staff, poor working environment and prolonged working hours. Innovation should be implemented in order to reduce work stress among doctors.
