DOI: 10.47750/cibg.2022.28.03.053

This article is based on asociological framework and data collection from Tunisian
students in the commercial and administrative affairs in order to analyze their priority
motivations for career choice. We take a particular interest in the study of motivations
in responsibility and professional representation in this field, these learners will be the
guarantors of the faithful image, of objectivity of reporting and ethical behavior. The
study was descriptive in nature and it employed a mixed methods design. Combining
qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study had a sample of 50 respondents
who were purposively selected. An empirical hierarchy of motivations shows that the
interest of these participants to choose a speciality is certainly to advance the cause in
which they are involved, but the primary source of motivation is first and foremost
their career development. In the majority of cases, motivation is an integral part of
their career, while in other cases, interest for commercial and administrative
fieldserves to build up social capital that can be used later in their job. However, our
results are quite far from thisreality: students show themselves to be more focused on
the promise of rapid integration or that of attractive remuneration offered by the
commercial and administrative affairs specialty of than on the regulated aspect
represented by the profession.Theoretical and managerial implications are advanced
highlighting the human, technological and relational sides of the study.

Edna M. Bulaklak

Journal of Contemporary Issues in Business and Government, 2021, Volume 27, Issue 1, Pages 4389-4396

Teaching about values affects the way teachers think and consequently influence the way they behave, which is manifested in actions. Teachers are not neutral with regard to values, as values are embedded within their attitudes and exhibited through their behavior. The inclusion of Physical Education (PE) as a subject area in all schools regardless of levels is mandated in Article XIV, Section 19 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution. This qualitative study purported to determine the role of Physical Education teachers in the inculcation of values among college students. Twelve physical education teachers and eighty physical education students in the university have been chosen using criterion sampling. The findings revealed that the strength of the Physical Education teachers depended on how they perform their roles in instilling values among their students. They thread on being a model, a counselor, and a public relation specialist. But they needed to strengthen further their role of being a facilitator and a mentor. It is also important to enhance the skills of the teachers in assessing their student's value system.

Journal of Contemporary Issues in Business and Government, 2021, Volume 27, Issue 1, Pages 1441-1453

For domestic pedagogy, the concepts of ‘learner-centered education’ and ‘learner-centered approach’ are no longer new. Can the learner-centered approach (style of interaction) be applied to students in higher education institutions? Or it may only be possible in preschool education institutions or in general education institutions? A many years' experience in applying the learner-centered approach to pupils (students) in practice shows that such approach has been effective at all levels of general and vocational education. This article discusses the specifics of the implementation of the learner-centered approach in the sphere of higher education, presents the criteria and indicators of such approach as well as the results of the student survey aimed at identifying the type of pedagogical interaction used.

Journal of Contemporary Issues in Business and Government, 2021, Volume 27, Issue 1, Pages 2013-2021

Student educational capacity is the component competencies in the competency framework of the teacher, especially for homeroom teacher, it is the core and essential competency in student education. Teachers play an important role in developing direct technical workforce for the country. Therefore, teaching capacity is a component of the pedagogical capacity and the most important capacity of the teacher. The teaching capacity of teachers in general and teachers in Thai Nguyen province in particular becomes the output standard, a criterion for building and evaluating teaching capacity in training and fostering pedagogy. This educational capacity includes the component competencies, via the survey process at primary schools in Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen province, it shows the inequality between the competencies of the qualified teachers; via organizing experiential activities and coordinating the educational forces to educate students, it is clear that the 3 groups of weak competencies mostly focus on learning the characteristics of students and students' families. Schools have implemented measures to develop educational capacity for primary teachers, but these are still formalistic, fragmented and ineffective. The practical survey results in this paper will be the valid basis for proposing a number of measures to develop educational capacity for homeroom teachers working as teachers at primary schools in Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province.
